The shoulder is the most flexible joint in the human body. Due to this flexibility and the great freedom of movement, it is very fragile and prone to injuries. Any swelling, inflammation, ruptures or changes in the tendons or in the area around them may cause pain. The patient may experience pain when he tries to move his arm above his head, behind his back, straight ahead or even while being still. The physiotherapy approach varies depending on the condition and activities of each patient. Priority is given to relieving the patient from the pain, addressing primarily inflammation.
