The psychology of a chronic patient should be taken into account in the design and implementation of a customized rehabilitation program. The main aims of the Physiotherapist is to encourage the patient to remain physically and socially active and to provide valuable advice to help manage his daily life. It is equally important to inform and educate the family members to understand the condition needs and capabilities of the patient and be helpful in his rehabilitation. In this respect the family environment should encourage him to remain active and provide psychologically support for a better quality of life.
